React Native Developer

You will build iOS and Android apps for clients using React Native and Expo. Projects range from small apps with a handful of screens to larger ones with subscriptions, push notifications and offline support.

You should have shipped at least one app to the App Store or Google Play, and know what happens after you press submit: review rejections, crashes in the wild and users on old phones.

The work:

• Build screens and navigation from designs
• Connect apps to REST APIs and handle poor connections
• Add push notifications, in-app purchases and deep links
• Prepare builds and handle store submissions
• Track down crashes using logs and crash reports

• 2 to 5 years of mobile development, with React Native for at least a year
• At least one app published on the App Store or Google Play
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience with Expo and native modules
• Understanding of app signing, builds and release steps

Nice to have:

• Some native iOS or Android experience
• Experience with Firebase or RevenueCat
• Offline-first apps
